Horrible golf experience.
Rude employees. Tree limbs and sticks throughout the course. Rocks in the traps. Tee boxes full of broken tees and trash.
Winter rate CLEARLY shown on their website as $30.00 will cost $37.00 when they bend you over with their fake " bait and switch" BS pricing system. The last time I checked, February was in the winter.
Never again!

The course is in exceptional shape! I was very surprised. Even the back nine, which is traditionally soggy after rain, was very dry including the new #12 par 5. The fairways were all very green and lush, although the rough was a tad long (cutting the grass while there). And, the greens had been aerated, but almost completely filled in and rolling nicely. Good pace of play, and the course is very walkable. The staff was welcoming. This course is not very difficult...no water to speak of, nor hazards...but it can play long, and the rough is punishing so hit the fairways! Congratulations to the Super for getting this course--all holes--in great shape.

As has been reported, course is in great shape. I like the new layout that came with the name change. Great rate of $35 before 6:30 AM but a little high at other times. Also still difficult to get a weekday tee time except early in the morning or in the mid day heat. Snack bar is reasonably priced.

Just played here Tuesday and only have one thing more to add...shoot me if I play here on a weekend! OMG! Slow, slow, slow! Waited on every hole, every shot. If you don't know how to play in the wind, stay home. Don't hold up the entire course. Keep up with the group in front of you, which means you might have to pick up the pace or pick up the ball! Nice staff and they tried to move everyone along, but the course was packed. I'll only play here during weekdays.

Special coupon in Tee Time Book for $25, so great deal! First tee time off this morning and walked. Had a short frost delay, but they got us out ASAP (ended up about 15 mins delay). The front nine is in excellent shape. This tract is the original and is mature. The fairways were in great shape, as were the bunkers. On the back nine, the newly-designed holes (#10-#15) are still growing in. They are in decent shape, but simply not as filled in as the front and some dirt spots here and there. However, the greens are in great shape throughout the course and a good pace. I like the layout of this course, it's easy to walk, and generally not too crowded during the week.

Course is in great shape even after the heavy rain last night. No standing water in any of the bunkers and a minimalamount noticed in the fairways. Staff was helpful and friendly. Marshall was paying close attention to the pace of play. good snack bar. The only difficulty is getting on the course during the week. There are 15 leagues with scheduled tee times every week, all but 1 of which are scheduled between Monday and Thursday. Worth trying to get on though.

This course is turning into a gem. Greens and traps were all perfect. Fairways on the front nine were also perfect. Back nine fairways had quite a few worn areas, but it was apparent they are in the process of being corrected. Front nine is same vanilla course it was under the Longview name, but back nine is new and sometimes challenging. Limit snack bar. Staff was very congenial.

Fox Hollow continues to be in good shape, even with as much play as it receives. The fairways are in good shape, although some fairways still show left-over signs of having been aerated weeks ago. Some of the holes on the back are still recovering some grass after aeration (#11, #12, #15, which are the reconfigured holes), but still in good shape. Hole #12 has some GUR as well, but mostly on the sides so should be out of play. Nice sand, and tee boxes in good shape. The greens show remenants of weeks-old aeration, but the greens rolled true so no issue. We walked for $26 and finished in 4 hours in the afternoon. I like this course--not a whole lot of trouble, so can work on your swing and distance.

This was the first time I have played this course since its name change and back nine reconfiguration a couple of years ago. I was definitely impressed with the positive changes particularly on the back nine. Course was in excellent condition for any time of year, let alone for the end of December. Greens fees have gotten a little pricey and the snack bar is very limited. Course gets a lot of play but appears to be holding up well.

With Tee Time Book, $28 w/cart after 11:00 on a weekend...what a deal (although I walked). The course is in great shape for this late in the season. Some of the fairways had small dirt spots, but they had been seeded. For the most part, the fairways were green and in good shape, as were the tee boxes. Greens had no dirt spots, but were a little bumpy and slow. I've seen some of the reviews about the staff, but I find them pleasant and accommodating--got out 30 minutes early on a Saturday morning and didn't wait on until around #13. Still finished in a little over 4 hours. Enjoyable layout at a good price.

Overall a nice Public Golf Course. Staff was friendly enough, Course is not challenging, but still fun, and one of the cheapest rounds for a course that is pretty well maintained. If only the players would take better care of it! Fix your ball marks people!

I try very hard to like this course as it is the closest to me. They have done a lot of work on it and made many improvements but their customer service and course management still makes it one to avoid. It's reputation is that of having nothing but grumpy old guys working it and that is still the case. Go there at peak hours and expect an extraordinarily long round. I still go there occassionally but this Sunday may have been my last. We teed off on the back nine and when we got to hole 12, all the sprinklers were on from tee to green. I went back and asked them to turn them off and was told they couldn't and to skip the hole and then come back to it. We did and when we came back they were still on and there was another group on the tee also waiting for it to be turned off. We gave up and just skipped the hole. I have many other negative experiences here and have learned to just go to Pineridge, it is far better. Forgot to mention the brand new driving range that in the afternoon faces directly into the sun so forget going there after work unless you want burned retinas.

Hadn't played the new layout. Really like the redesigned back 9. The old wet #10 and #12 are gone and more playable holes provided. It had rained several days before today, but the course wasn't all that wet (the old Longview would have been sloppy and unplayable). Had aerated the greens, but in pretty good shape overall for this early in the season. Nice track, playable, and enjoyable--and walkable, which I did today.

Wanted to play here since they opened up the back 9. Front 9 was in decent shape, but off the fairways is really rough and dead. The weather has been very hot and dry so you have to consider that. The back 9 was in decent shape but still a work in progress. Some of the grass on the tee boxes was really long. The greens were so-so. The 17th fairway was not in great shape. I think next year when they work out the kinks this course will be really nice.

Only 9 holes, no wait to play, greens are very bumpy and the fairways were long. Great way to shake off the rust.

The course was in pretty good shape. The greens were slow but not bad. Not very tough but a nice course. The par 3 2nd is a pretty cool hole. It's only plays about 120 yards but the tee box is severely elevated which makes for a challenging shot. The pace was also very good. 4 1/2 hours on a Saturday afternoon is great! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Longview is a great Beginner course, so if you have high expectations, you'll most likely be disappointed. That being said, the course is in good condition and is very forgiving. It's a full 18 holes, so you'll be able to swing every club, and I recommend playing from the tips b/c they're only about 200 yards longer than the Whites. My biggest complaint is that they didn't have a cart girl, but the sandwiches at the turn were solid.

All in all the course was in decent condition for the time of the year. Fairways still need some work, but the greens rolled pretty true. It was ok for price, curious to see how it is in the summer

I only have one question why do they have water in the fairways when they are underwater to begin with? Bring some scuba gear for this track.

Although the course was good, every green was aerated to the point where putting was like closing your eyes and hoping for the best. When ball would roll across some of them, sand would kick up like being on a beach. The four of us got to the point where we would comment frequently about how it seemed as though there were mini speed bumps on the green. Other than that, the course was fine.
