HawkEvery year I play in a captain’s choice tournament at Ford’s Colony, and every year regardless of which of the three courses I play, it’s in great shape. Marsh Hawk is a delightful track, with a traditional layout and little surprises. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all tip-top. The rough is basically non-existent, but this was welcomed during a CC tournament. Greens, although beautifully groomed, were a bit on the slow side for my taste. Overall, any course on the property is a winner. I look forward to adding another trophy to my collection next year!
