Overall Rating:

Course was in pristine condition. Except for visual spot patterns that had no effect on putts, greens were perfect. Traps were well drained in spite of the 2 1/2 inchees of rain over the weekend. Fairways, rough, and tees were also in perfect condition. Excellent full snack bar. A great deal now with a $29 Tee Time book promo rate.

Tees & fairways in decent shape. Traps had sand in them but were hard as a rock. Seems like they had not been power raked since fall. Cmon guys tomorrow is the first day of spring. But worse was the greens. They have grass on them but small round patches of brown, green ,dark green, tan. Never saw greens that looked like this. Putts were very bumpy. Hopefully they figure out what else is growing on these & fix them

Great day to play golf. Course in great shape except for the greens. Lot's of unfixed ballmarks & damage from older unrepaired ballmarks. Also I went thru 2 tubes of divot mix (ran out on hole 15) fixing divots in the fairway. Maybe the starter needs to start telling golfers to fix their divots & ballmarks & if they don't, they will be asked to leave??

The Woodlands golf course is in great shape as usual. The greens rolled true, fairways were mostly lush, just a few brown spots, and the tee boxes were well manicured.

Came back after a long Hiatus, I forgot how much I really like this Course. Bentgrass has been taken over by Poa on Greens,Fairways and Tees but is still a nice surface to hit off of. Bunker Sand was great throughout the Golf Course. Roughs appeared to need the most attention, with some area's thin and some overly thick. Upgrades and Addition to Clubhouse are very nice. BCG has a good thing going here with 36 Holes of Golf.

Played today. Price $37 with advantage card. Only 3 sets of tees being used but no big deal. Greens, traps in good shape. 15 fairway being resodded. Course seems less intimidating with no leaves on the trees yet. Diamond Ridge being punched today. This course gets it next week

Played this afternoon. They aerated about a week or so ago, so still growing in (rather sparse grass in many fairways) and had filled some areas with dirt/sand. Bunkers were nice, but many golfers did not bother to clean up after themselves (rake the bunkers!). With handicap season starting 3/15, all tee boxes should have been available--they only had 3. This course is a nice layout, but I was disappointed with the overall condition--I'll wait awhile before I play there again.

Overall Rating:

Twilight round at 130 pm. For the winter, everything was in pretty great shape, even the bunkers were raked really well. Green were running really slow and bumpy, but for the time of year you cant really complain. Play was smooth throughout.

Course is in good winter shape with the exception of resodding in progress on 2 fairways. Greens are great and traps have new "sugar" sand. Limited snack bar in clubhouse and minimal staffing. Staff is excellent otherwise.

After several years away from this complex, the 36 holes including The Woodlands and Diamond Ridge are still just as packed as I remember. Both courses are well maintained and provide a challenge to all types of players. The only deterance is the amount of play.

Caught a twilight rate ($32 with a players card). Tee'd off around 4:15 and finished a little after 8:00. Greens were a little thick, which definitely helps on a course whose greens are usually very difficult. Overall, great round --- great pace of play, awesome conditions, and definitely will make me come back for more!

Tee time at 8:30 on a Saturday. I know, I know, you're probably thinking 5.5 hour round on a public course on a Saturday morning. Well this was far from the case. Pace of play was tremendous, we finished in 4 hrs, 15 min, never saw the group ahead of us. Saw cart girl at least once on every hole. $72 is a bit pricey for a weekend rate w/o Advantage Carde, but well worth it. Course was in great condition. I'll probably take SliceBalls18's recommendation and play this course at the $32 twilight rate next time.

Rainy, overcast day which helped clear out the course --- tee'd off right before 5:00 and finished around 8:20. $32 twilight with the County Player Pass --- great deal for a course of this quality. Tee boxes and fairways are in excellent condition. The greens are perfect and extremely challenging. Can't wait to play again soon.

Great Course overall. However, The "Snack Shop" Manager is extremely rude. The other staff would look at her, as if they couldn't believe it either. Just completely uncalled for rudeness.

Course is in good condition for this time of the year. Stay in the fairway though as the rough is full and thick. Fairways are showing some wear and tear near the greens with a lot of repaired divots. Greens and greenside traps were excellent.

Great Experience. Staff was very good, Starter helped out and I got out as a walk on fast. Course was a little wet but played well. Good greens and fairways. Bunkers were wet but in good shape. I played as a single in 2:20 on a Sunday afternoon. Can't beat that. I would recomend the course.

This course was in perfect condition. The greens are some of the hardest in the area. They were very quick and had very few flat areas. The fairways and the tee boxes were also in perfect condition. $37 for a twilight rate is a steal for this course.

The tight bent grass fairways, thick rough and undulating greens keep you on top of your game. The course is in fantastic shape, the greens, fairways, and tee boxes are manicured to perfection.

Course was in good, early spring shape. Greens were just aerated three days prior. There was a considerable amount of sand on the greens. Other than that, course was flawless. Spring rates were still in effect. We paid $42 and pretty much had the entire course to ourselves.

I was pretty excited to play this course and when I got there, I found out that the greens, tee boxes and fairways were all aerated. They gave us $10 off but I was pretty disappointed.
I would stay away for the next week or 2.

With many of the courses around the area in deteriorating condition, The Woodlands has remained one of the top conditioned courses throughout the season. Greens, Fairways and Tee boxes are in excellent condition. Weekday rate is well worth it!

Very, very difficult greens and the rough was near impossible to get out of. Beautiful course! A little over a four hour round. Challenging course, that clearly shows me how terrible I am! Starter fit us in to the Woodlands course when we were going to play Diamond Ridge. I can't wait to try this course out again!

The bunkers were all under repair except for maybe 2 or 3. There are a lot of down branches from landscaping and such. I was not told about any of this and paid full price. This is a decent course but if you play this anytime soon call and see if repairs are completed. The mud in the unrepaired bunkers is a mess trust me you don't want to fool with this place right now.

This course is still in pretty solid shape even though we're at the end of the season. Tee boxes are in great condition, but some of the fairways are showing the wear and tear from a full season of play. As always, this course is a challenge with tight fairways, tough approach shots, and very tough pin placements. The greens are still in good shape, despte the fact that some players are getting lazy and not repairing their ball marks. $35 Twilight Rate is an unbelievable deal, and we were able to tee off at 3:30 (no wait) and finish by 7:00. I highly recommend this course and cannot wait to see what it looks like in '08.

The course is in above average shape. At almost $80 on the weekend its a little on the pricey side, but overall a good day. There was a course ranger in training obsessed pace of play, but he was only 12 so he wasnt a threat. Gnats are a little bothersome on some greens.

Truly the jewel of Baltimore County. Lush, bentgrass fairways make up this course. It was almost like playing golf on top of a sponge. Playing twighlight is surely the way to go. We got in an entire round (as a 4-some) starting after 5pm. This brought the cost down drastically. I had a polish hotdog at the turn, definitely below average, however the girl selling me the polish hotdog was way above average. What a great round of golf!

marked with narrow fairways the courts presents a challenge to those hitters who are long but not straight. Playing at only about 6300 if you can manage to keep it in the fairway the potential for a great round is there. For a public course, the pace of play is above average and course consistency is about as good as can be asked for.
