first time I played the Falls Road but I really liked it. Very playable for ability's. The course was in good shape considering the heat. The greens were a little rough but not too bad. It's not a long course but it is fun and the staff is nice.

There can be no doubt that Falls Road has solidified its place among the area's most prestigious courses. Unfortunately, it is often overshadowed by its exclusive neighbors (Congressional Blue and Burning Tree). Don't let the yardage fool you; Falls plays a lot longer than you would expect. In my day, I've seen more than a few scratch golfers leave Falls with broken clubs and bruised egos. Locally, rumors have been circulating that Bob Estes and Tom Lehman are working in conjuncture with the United States Golf Association to eventually bring the US Open to Falls Road. While I cannot confirm these with any certainty, it speaks volumes as to the status of this hidden gem. It is a must-play course for any serious golfer looking for a true challenge.

After 5 days of rain course is still in excellent condition. Grounds crew had raked up the sand traps and there were no marks on greens or fairways. Snack bar has excellent selection of items. Course is busy but pace is good.

Despite teeing off at before 8am, the course was already backed up and the marshal was m.i.a. The course in general was in good shape, but the greens were incredibly slow and patchy on a few holes. The tee boxes had been moved up and the course was set up to score well.

Course is still coming in but fairways and traps are in great condition for March. Greens are good except for numerous unrepaired ball marks. Staff is friendly and helpful although course still doesn't open up until 9:00 (Monday). Good snack bar. March prices are a good deal.

Unlike most other courses, they charge extra for an optional cart. However, the course is very walkable.

We had a nice round and everything went well. The grill at the turn was great, and they put out a good hamburger. We regularly saw the snack cart.

Course is still in good condition although greens are beginning to show some small brown spots and rough near cart paths is beginning to some wear. Sill a good course and a fun round.

Course is in great shape. Greens and fairways are excellent. Rough in good but a little long in places because of the recent rains and inability to mow. Traps are wet but no standing water and grounds crews were actively "fluffing" them up.

Falls Road golf course was in pretty good shape given the recent weather conditions and the amount of use this course gets. I'm not sure why the green fees are higher than the other Montgomery County courses. But, it's a good course if you care to walk. It's not a particularly long course but it hase wide forgiving fairways. The hot dog we got at the turn was way better than the length of time it took to get it.

I find Falls Road to be one of the more consistently well maintained courses in the region. You can find faster greens elsewhere, but Falls Road is a reliably above average course with reasonable rates.
