All aspect of the course are in very good shape. Some of the best sand I've played out of all year. Greens are fast but true. Senior tee time rate on Monday and Tuesday is a good deal. Other rates may be a little high, but course is worth it. Excellent snack bar.

Greystone is a very nice course. Fairways are in pretty good shape but, the winter divots have not recovered fully. The rough is super thick in some areas and struggling in others but good. Greens are nice with tough pin placements in our rotation today. The traps are everywhere you will want to be and very deep. Very nice tee boxes. Disappointed there was no GPS. No. 17 fairway was having drains installed in the fairway (not told or listed on website).
I liked greystone. I would recommend.
It's not that nice.
I will not pay $78.00 to play on the weekend. Baltimore County has about 60 different prices to extract as much cash from you as possible. C'mon Man... |

First, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We had the first twilight tee time to make sure we could get in 18 before dark. The price of $42 with cart is very reasonable considering the condition of this course. Fairways are in great shape and the bunkers had fluffy, white sand. The starter warned us that the greens were lightning fast and always make sure you land below the hole - he wasn't kidding. The greens were in great shape for the most part. We finished 18 in 4 hours and 10 minutes and only waited a few times because the group ahead of us. I was happy to see a ranger a couple of times to keep the pace moving. You also get a free bag of range balls with your greens fees. Overall, one of the best values out there.

Greystone is a very challenging track. Greens are very fast and highly contoured. Course is in overall good shape. Greens and traps are perfect. Fairways have a lot of unrepaired divots. Greens fees are a little pricey for the course location, but excellent snack bar is moderately priced. Fun course to play if your are not overly concerned about your score.

Greystone was in very nice shape, one of the better public courses in the Baltimore area. Weekend golf is $78 or $72 with a players card. The pace was decent for a Saturday 4:15. They have a fine pro shop and snack bar as well. The only problem is they took the GPS out of the carts. This is a must have at this course. They raised their prices as well this year. I would figure they would lower them since they devalued part of the play. Anyway other then the GPS it is a fine course

Greystone is a great layout, nice range and practice area always well maintained, nice clubhouse/pro shop and GPS. The only complaint I ever have about the place is the pricing(this is the end of December and they are charging $42 for twilight?? come on man).I play a lot of winter golf and most all places in the area are 25$ to $30.Peak summer rates here reach almost $80....which is one reason why my play here will be limited.Hopefully someone will read this and consider dropping their rates,I do enjoy the golf course.

Greens, rough, and traps in great shape. Some fairways are a little patchy. Grass replacing former divots appears to be a different type than the rest of the fairway. Staff is excellent. Good Snack bar.

The course appeared to me to be a lot easier then the slope indicated. The course does not play long, and only as a few tight holes. The slopes in the greens do make you think more about your approach. The greens were a little furry, not running the speed I would have hoped for such a touted course. Based on the layout, I would recommend a round up there.

Greystone is always in superb condition, and with the last of the winter rate days, was a good value today. Fees tend to be a little steep in season. Staff was friendly (as always) and the snack bar has a large selection of menu items.

Greystone is primed and ready to go for the 2010 golf season. One of my favorites in the baltimore area, this hidden gem has a wonderful layout and is always in great condition.

Baltimore County's gem is in perfect shape right now. The greens were fast, green and unblemished, the fairways were perfect and the rest the experience was fantastic. The staff was polite and friendly and the snack bar had great food. Greystone is definitely a must play.

The course has a great layout but is having some troubles with their greens. This course is usually one of the best in MD and I'm sure they are working around the clock to get the greens back up to par. Once the greens come back, this course will be awesome again and a must play. The staff was very friendly.

Greystone Golf Course was in really good condition. For a reasonable fee, we got to play a course with many challenging golf holes with a good practice/warm-up facility. The grass was green and the rough was THICK... Probably due to lot's of rain in the previous week. It has hilly terrain but not many blind shots. The staff were helpful and informative. We had a very enjoyable round. It is worth the drive to White Hall, MD. Enjoy.

Great day, great course, I just wish the staffer didn't come up and tell us we are 7 minutes behind pace. When we had no one behind us and someone just in front of us.

One of Maryland's top five daily-fee courses did not disappoint. The greens were in great shape however I would have like to see them faster. The fairways, rough and tee boxes were near perfect. Although the conditions were great, I was a little disappointed with the staff. On hole 15 the ranger came over and told us we were 7 minutes behind pace and we need to pick up our play. I'm sure he is doing his job, but not only was there no one behind us, but we had to wait on most of the tee boxes. The ranger then followed us for the next hole just to make sure we were keeping pace. Other than that the my turkey club at the turn was tasty, the cart girl came by at least 4 times, and guys did a good job cleaning my clubs after my round.

One of the top public courses in Maryland without of doubt. Greens, Fairways and Tee boxes always in near perfect condition. If you haven't played this course yet, you haven't seen one of Maryland's Gems!

This course looks better in January then most places looked all year long. There are a couple bunkers under repair but no big deal, I can't wait to play in the spring/summer. Oh the greens are slow there right now so for those of you who play Graystone you know that is a good thing

It was too cold to play at my CC this Sunday because of the wind coming off the water so I returned to Greystone a place that has been perfect all year. It seems like everytime I go back the course is in better shape. Now since it is the end of the season they are fixing a few traps but no big deal just gives me something to look forward to in April 08. Too bad old man winter is here I would love to play Greystone a couple more times.

This is the most improved course in Maryland. Everything Beechtree lost this year Greystone gained and it was $30 less to play. Greystone's new grounds keeper is doing a great job.
