An ok course, somewhat pricey for what it offers which is a lot of long par-4s some challenging par3s and a couple of par-5s. It's just kind of a scruffy course in a nice suit and you pay a premium for playing it (they are serious about the "no jeans and mandatory collar" policy, at least they were a couple of years ago, maybe not so much now). A lot of water, a lot of doglegs. Very flat, not too wide or too tight. Like they took a road-grader and drove it around to make the course, occasionally stopping to make tee-boxes and greens. Not a lot of grass on the fairways but that's usual in a dry summer. Houses, not exactly out of play on a few of the holes. But some challenging, playable holes, no question. It's a flatter, easier boring version of Cross Creek or Marlborough Country Club. Or Redgate, Enterprise, Twin Lakes, Penderbrook, any of a number of DC area public courses. But not all that cheap either.
