Could not evaluate the course fairly as the tees and greens were frozen. Frozen sand traps are nice as your ball just bounces out of them. Good snack bar.

After several days of heavy rain, course was a little waterlogged, particularly the sand traps. In spite of that greens were generally good with a couple of brown spots. Fairways and rough were the same. Tees were a little beat up. Snack bar had a good selection of items but was a little costly.

The Links at Challedon is in great shape right now. The greens, fairways and tee boxes are in a pleasure to play on. The course provides enough of a challenge to keep you coming back. Make sure you check out the snack bar, it rocks!

Challenging course. Be ready right off the bat as numbers 1-3 are all pretty tough. If you're out in the country and want to play a well kept, challenging course, I would highly recommend. No drink cart so bring your own brews...

Challedon is in great shape right now. Greens are well kept despite lots of ball marks. Fairways, with some brown patches here and there, were great to hit off of. The 17th is a great Par 5 and begs for you to go over a pond to reach the green in 2; reminds me of the scene in Tin Cup. Also, getting in 18 in just over 4 hours was fantastic, especially on a Sunday morning.

I took a friend from church while we on our way to our mens retreat for a quick 9 holes. We needed a course with a driving range to practice before we hit the links. The driving range was nice. The pro shop is well equipment and the staff are friendly and helpful. The course is great and challenging. The 6th hole is a steep up hill fairway which was a little intimidating but, I did pretty well there. We let a couple of foursomes play through and they had some trouble hitting into the trees on the left but all and all we really liked the course. We ate lunch in the club house and the crab cakes were great. The restrooms were clean and well keep. Over all a very nice course.

The clubhouse has been repainted and bathroom's redone. The customer service level has risen as apposed to past years at the course. Course conditions were very well maintained than in the past and the workers seemed like they really enjoyed being their. That day was a great day for January and the course was very crowded and pace of play was around 4 and half hours. Can't wait to go back in the spring.
