$51 rack rate on a Saturday morning. I really like this course...beautiful vistas, nice variety of hole layout (risk/reward and scoring holes), and the course is always in great shape. They did an overlay project on their cart paths, and also added some rock formations and landscaping mostly on the front (#4 down the hill and approaching the green rock formation was beautiful, but can send your ball sailing if you go too far right and hit it). The rough was filled in and a tad long, and the fairways were in good shape, although I did notice some patches of clover and/or crabgrass cropping up (only on a couple of holes). The greens were very nice, rolling true and in great shape with hardly any ball marks. My one complaint was pace of play. Right on the back of their scorecard in capital letters it states: Playing time for 18-hole round should be FOUR HOURS or less. Well, that didn't happen...was 5 hours, and didn't need to be that long. On the turn, we hit a wall and there were 3 groups on each of the par 3's, and 2-3 groups on each of the other holes. I saw a marshal on the front, but never on the back. I never saw a hole open in front of us--only behind us--so not sure what the problem was, but they definitely need to marshal and move groups along to stick to their own rules of FOUR HOURS. It's a 1 hr. 20 min. drive for me, so I'm not sure I'll go back any time soon, even though I do like this course. I can stay more local with the same slow play issues.
