Willow Springs is a par 62 executive course, but it does have some challenging holes, with narrow fairways and deep greenside bunkers. Greens are in excellent shape but bunkers appear to have not be raked recently. Fairways are burnt out since there is no fairway irrigation system. Still, this is a good course for valid short game practice or for beginners. Good snack bar with a variety of selections.

Greens and fairways on the front nine are not in good shape, but the back nine conditions are generally much better. Traps have excellent sugar sand, but need to be raked on a daily basis as there were many animal tracks in all traps. Tees and rough are hard because of the recent lack of rain. Good snack bar, but course is difficult to get on early on weekday mornings because of numerous leagues taking up early blocks of time.

Willow Springs is a great executive course for beginners. Right now they are in the process of aerating all of the greens. The back nine was aerated so I played the front nine twice. The front nine conditions were above average with mostly green fairways, greens and tee boxes. My only complaint was that it was very difficult to find distance markers. The markers on the tee boxes seemed warn which made them difficult to read. Other than that the course is great to get in a quick round after work. They also have a night driving range which is great for this time of the year.

My brother in law took me to the course on Sept 5th. It was my first time at the course and I was impressed. Were paired up with two other golfers. The course is shorter than other courses but just as challenging. The restrooms were clean and they had a nice little snack bar. There was an eat-in area but is was a nice day so we used the picnic tables.

For an executive, par three course, I don't think you can beat this course. Greens and tee boxes were nicely manicured, and I'd encourage all to play here if you need a little work with your short game. The most notible part of my experience at this course were the hotdogs. Hans down, the best hotdog I've ever had. It was so good, I had two of them
