I love the Point, the course was surprisingly dry for the amount of snow that we have received. Not bad condition for this time of year.

Rocky Point continues to be in great shape. Very crowded as temps hit the 70's in Nov, but the pace wasn't too bad once we got past holes 1 & 2. Fairways were in great shape, greens were true, and the rough wasn't too high.

What a setting for a golf course! The views of the Back River were awesome. The course is a delight to play; we teed off in the afternoon, and played in 4 hours! Head Golf Pro Jeff Bell definitely knows how to operate a municipal course. The marshals were very visible, but unobtrusive. The shop and cart staff were very friendly and effusive. PLAY THIS COURSE!

Course was generally in good condition. Greens had just be treated with granular chemical, but otherwise in excellent shape. Fairways and rough were good. Course had an email early bird special of $28 dollars that was not honored. Had to pay $31 plus an additional $5 because a tee time was established, even though the course was essentially empty at 6:00 AM. Apparently that is a standard for all Baltimore County courses. Limited selection at the snack bar, but hotdogs and hamburgers are available.

The rough was a little shorter tthen it was week ago. The bunkers still need fresh sand. There is also a problem with bees around some traps and some adjcent to some t boxes.

| Each year this course gets a little better. It is a little easier then its sisters, Diamond Ridge and Woodlands and more of a challenge then Longview. The rough was quite thick and a little long, but with all the rain we've had, What do you expect. The fairways were a pleasure, and the greens were above average. Only suggestion, take better care of the sand traps. Of course if I stayed out of them it would not be a problem.
Some of the views, especially around 10 and 11 are really first class.
Keep up the good work. |

Course is in good shape for late fall. Greens are medium speed and traps have excellent sand in them. Tees are less beat up than other courses that I have played recently.

Rocky Point was in great shape here in Feb. It was not too crowded even with the weather being in the upper 50s. Anyway I figured the course would be a little worn from all the play it got last year but it looks like it will be in great shape for 08.

Rocky Point is in great shape, has been for the past 2 years. The only problem is this course is getting as crowded as Pine Ridge, course could be in trouble soon if it keeps getting over played

I played in a outing at R.P. today. Course was in great shape. Some burnt out areas in between some fairways, But the fairways and greens were in great shape. It is not the R.P. of old.

The course was in great shape. The greens were just aerated but the used a lot of top dressing and was much more better then any other aerated greens I've played on. Great views of the water also

I was pleasantly surprised by Rocky Point. The course was in great condition, perfect greens and beautiful fairways. Holes 10 and 11 gave spectacular views of the Chesapeake. The round was pretty slow taking over five hours.

Having played this course on a weekly basis for the past 3 years I can tell you that it's in the best shape i've ever seen. The tee boxes were lush and short, the greens were flawless and have recovered from aeration 100%. My first knock on the course is the fairways. Not that they aren't in good shape, becuase they are in very nice shape, it's just that on some holes the fairway is clearly defined and on others you can't tell the fairway from the rough. Speaking of the rough, on most holes you want to avoid it at all costs! Today it was thick and had attitude. My only other knock is slow play. I didn't see a Ranger at all today. This is a problem that has plagued this course for years. They have managed to get a few good Rangers who keep you on your toes, just today they must have been off duty. Overall I would say go play this course and don't think twice about it. A few of the holes are along the Bay and offer great scenery, just allow a little more than 4 1/2 hours just in case.

I have played at this course on numerous occasions. I love it. Holes 10 and 11 are unbelievable. It's like you're playing at a totally different golf course. The rest of the course is just alright. Fairways were a little overgrown toward the end of the summer, but I'd imagine, come early Spring this course should be back in tip-top shape. This course is a great value, although the snack bar is below average
