I haven't played this course in 12-13 years. What a pleasure!! It was in fabulous condition, from tee to green and everything in between. I've read several less-than-favorable reviews on this course, and I just don't get it! From the time we drove into the parking lot until we left, the staff treated us like royalty...bag drop, pro shop, starter, and restaurant. The course was pretty quiet--maybe the 95 degree weather had something to do with it--but we basically had the course to ourselves. Excellent, excellent condition! It was $49 w/the Tee Time Book and that was a steal. I can't wait to go back. What a treat!

Mountain Branch is a well maintained beautiful course. The day started off great, picked up a bacon egg and cheese from the restaurant that was excellent, hit some balls off of the grass driving range (balls included with your round), and teed off five minutes before the tee time. This was my first time playing Mountain Branch and I have to say met my expectations. The layout is pretty standard, the fairways are fairly open so you can rip it off the tee box, the first hole has a forced carry off the tee box which is a bit intimidating, but after that the course is pretty straight forward. For $74 on a Saturday, it is better than any other course in the area in the same price range.

First time back in 2 years and great to see that this golf course is back after a few years of issues. This is a 5 star golf course right now, I gave 4 stars due to the 11th green being covered in goose droppings and had to chase the geese off the green to putt, other than that the golf course is in great shape. Don't forget the Deck Parties every Thursday during the summer months

Love the layout of this place. Nice views, no houses, some interesting holes. Greens were aerated but they were rolling ok. Traps in good shape. Couple of the fairways had some bare spots & some of the fringes as well. But we had a great time. Played for $55 on a Sunday which we all felt was a great deal. Food in clubhouse was good. Beer cart girl was out but $3.75 for a can of Bud? Cmon man!

They just aerated this week, I have no idea why they waited till now with the mild winter. This course has not been in good shape in years. This used to be one of the better courses around but they just let it go. This is very unfortunate because I love the layout. I will say the overall conditions are a little better than last year but my 1-10 rating last year would have been a 2 and a 4 this year so that is not saying much. Trust me I would never spend the $80 they charge during the season I would spend another $50 and just play Bulle Rock. I suspect this course will be out of business in the next year or so unless it is sold and someone puts some money into it. Tons of wealthy gentlemen in the area lets do something fellas.

Course is in horrible shape. No grass on the tee boxes, around the greens, drainage ditches run through the fairways, leaving horrible lies. The course does not take water very well, and is not really even in playable condition when wet, and I think barely playable when dry. They have the nerve to charge that much money - I play on better conditioned courses for half that rate. This was the second time I played there, once about 5 years ago, the course was in excellent condition, what a let down.

I have NEVER seen this golf course in this condition. I thought when we got there and were only charged $50 for Saturday play this was a great deal. After playing a couple holes they should have paid me $50 to play it and gave me back my gas money and maybe a massage from the cart girl. Well one thing the water in the coolers was ice cold.

Course is in good condition for winter season and staff taking good care of it to be ready for spring. $39 peak is still in effect. They do have extensive frost delays so don't expect to be able to go out first thing in the morning during the winter season.

Course was in overall great condition except on the day we played the greens had just been sanded. Except for the sand, the greens appeared to be in great shape also. Staff was friendly and helpful, but food was a little pricey. Course is a great deal ($39) for seniors on Monday and Wednesday.

This was my first time playing this course, and I was really impressed with it. The conditions were close to perfect. I'm not sure how a recent review of this course could have possibly said the greens were in bad shape; they were flawless. This course had a great and challenging design. Many holes had split fairways, and two-tiered greens. Golf carts had a great gps system but did get annoying sometimes. If you went off the cart path on a cart path only hole, the motor would shut off. Also the other cart in the 4-some I played with shut off all together at one point causing the rangers to send out a new cart for us. The clubhouse was really nice, food was good, though the grill should have opened before 11am on a Saturday. The starter was very thorough as well. We teed off 15 minutes past our tee time and I'm sure it's attributed to the 15 minute speech the starter gives to each group before they tee off. All in all, for $69 on a weekend morning, this course is a must play.

Like usual great conditions. Cold weather made the ground very hard. Greens in near perfect shape same with the fairways and tee boxes. Great course, highly recommended.

Mountain Branch is in GREAT SHAPE!! We played twilight and had the whole course to ourself. Fairways, Greens and tee boxes were in Excellent shape. One could tell a lot of work went in to getting this course through the rough summer we've had. Pro shop staff are very friendly. We played twilight and were only able to get in 16 holes. Our cart died coming back to the clubhouse. We will go back. Check out Mountian Branch, You'll like it.

Great Course, prices are lower than what they have been in the past. Greens are some of the truest surfaces I have ever seen. Fairways are a bit dry but still fair shape. Every course is having similar drought but it did rain when I finished so I'm sure there was some growth. Great track all around.
