Course is in great winter condition. Fairways are dormant but full. Greens are great and medium fast. Traps are a little heavy but that may be because of recent rains. Rough has some bare spots but your not supposed to be there anyway. Snack bar is extremely limited (hot dogs only). Overall a good experience. I will go back.

Course is in overall good shape. Greens and fairways are lush and green. Rough is long but full. Traps are Ok but the sand is a lttle bit coarse and heavy. Very limited snack bar. Front nine is fairly streaight forward but back nine has a lot of forced carries and difficult greens. Still, a fun course to play.

Course isin good overall condition. It seems to have drained well after the last few days of heavy rain. Greens and traps are excellent but some hole had no sand rakes. Fairways and rough were good but some needed cutting (probably becauseof the rain the last five days. Snack bar is limited. Course get a lot of outint and leage play in the summer so it is sometimes difficult to get on.

Back nine is closed until sometime in April. Front nine is OK but probably overplayed over the winter. Greens are a little bumpy but should smooth out once Grass begins to grow again. Traps are in excellent shape. Fairways and rough are still in winter condition. $25 senior rate for 18 holes is an great price but will probably go up when spring gets here in earnest. No snack bar available during the winter season.

Course is in good condition. Track is tight so you need to bring your best driving game. Traps have new sand and greens are great but fast. Fairways are also good but with a lot of forced carries. Tee Time rate was $28. Staff is great but there is only a minimal snack bar (hot dogs only).

I haven't played this course in several years and was very surprised at the good condition. The fairways were green and almost completely green (except for some minor burn-out spots on the edges of a few fairways), and the greens were in good shape. We had that horrific severe weather yesterday, so the bunkers were wet and basically unplayable, but that was to be expected. The rough is long and punishing, so stay in the fairways. Although this course is short (6012 from the tips and a par 70 with six par 3's), don't underestimate it. There are lots of hazards and environmental areas to cross and along the sides, so you have to be strategic in your shot making. Plenty of deer in sight as well. The condition of the course was a nice surprise. With the Tee Time book, it was $50 after 1:00 which was fair; however, with that price their normal weekend rack rate must be pretty high and I'm not sure the course is worth more than $50.

Course is in great shape except for some bare spots on several of the fairways. Traps are some of the best that I have run into recently. Clubhouse is small with no real snackbar, but clubhouse sells hot dogs and sandwiches. Tee Time rate is very good although regular rates are a little high for the area. they a special rate for Mondays and Wednesdays.

The course was in awful condition, and I know it is April but it was not even close to worth the 64 bucks to play. Not a challenging course, apparently good for children. Short and low priced for kids under 18. If you are an adult you get hosed. Don't think i will be going back.

This course was in very nice condition, especially for how late in the year it is. The layout is interesting. It seems as though they had a lot of obstacles when designing the course but were able to overcome them with a nice, fun design. If you don't hit the ball straight, this is not the place for you.

Course was surprisingly dry for all the rain we had the previous few days. Great layout, some challenging holes, some easier ones. Greens were in good condition, fairways had some patches of brown. A little pricey on the weekend if you are not a CA member (63 riding).

The course was really wet (like everywhere) but it is a real gem with some really hard holes and some holes relatively easy. At least six holes are very hard but a nice mix. Fairways and greens are really good. Fairways need another week to be completely green for the summer.

Fairways have not yet greened up, but rough is beginning to look good. Greens were very fast with a lot of slopes. Traps are looking good with plenty of soft sand even after two days of rain. Snack bar was not open but pro shop served hot dog and drink with green fee.

Fairway Hills is an ok course owned by the Columbia Association...The course is pretty good value if you are a Columbia Resident, but if you aren't I would probably not play there. The conditions were very average, fairways were in pretty decent shape and the greens were painfully slow, but green. My only real complaint was that the bunkers were as hard as a rock. I mean come on...it sucks enough to be in a bunker, but then to try to hit your ball off of a rock is just terrible.

The course is not in the same condition it was last time I played in October. It is not worth the $60 they charged during the week either. I can not even begin to point out all the things that were wrong at the course but trust me it is not worth the money. $35-$40 maybe $60+ NO WAY. There are too many courses that are much better in the area. If you are going to go to Fairway Hills just drive a little more and go to Blue Mash it is well worth it.

Very nice course and a great value. This is a very nice course to get back on track if you have not been playing well. A couple very easy par 5's you can get some birds.

The greens are a little banged up, but the fairways are in good shape for late season. It..s a short course, but narrow and mostly tree lined. The amenities are VERY limited, but compensates with a friendly staff. Drink fast or bring you own ice and small cooler as they have neither.

Even though this course from the white tees is only 5723 yards it is very tough unless you hit the ball straight. Stray 10 yards off line and you are in trouble here (creeks, rivers, trees). The course is a little more forgiving from the blue tees if you have the distance. Greens are well maintained as are the fairways. Rough can be quite thick on some holes. Staff are friendly and the pro shop is sparse as are the eats.

Fairway Hills golf course is now open to the public. The conditions were very good considering they just planted new bermuda grass last year. The staff is friendly and with your $60 round you receive a course layout book. The only thing they have food wise, is cold hot dogs which was disappointing. The narrow hilly fairways make up for the shortness of the course. Definitely a great round with above average conditions!

Lots of bare areas in the fairways during the time we played. Greens were all cut differently and all with different speeds. Still had fun playing the course
