This course was in very nice condition, especially for how late in the year it is. The layout is interesting. It seems as though they had a lot of obstacles when designing the course but were able to overcome them with a nice, fun design. If you don't hit the ball straight, this is not the place for you.

Course was surprisingly dry for all the rain we had the previous few days. Great layout, some challenging holes, some easier ones. Greens were in good condition, fairways had some patches of brown. A little pricey on the weekend if you are not a CA member (63 riding).

The course was really wet (like everywhere) but it is a real gem with some really hard holes and some holes relatively easy. At least six holes are very hard but a nice mix. Fairways and greens are really good. Fairways need another week to be completely green for the summer.

Fairways have not yet greened up, but rough is beginning to look good. Greens were very fast with a lot of slopes. Traps are looking good with plenty of soft sand even after two days of rain. Snack bar was not open but pro shop served hot dog and drink with green fee.

Fairway Hills is an ok course owned by the Columbia Association...The course is pretty good value if you are a Columbia Resident, but if you aren't I would probably not play there. The conditions were very average, fairways were in pretty decent shape and the greens were painfully slow, but green. My only real complaint was that the bunkers were as hard as a rock. I mean come on...it sucks enough to be in a bunker, but then to try to hit your ball off of a rock is just terrible.

The course is not in the same condition it was last time I played in October. It is not worth the $60 they charged during the week either. I can not even begin to point out all the things that were wrong at the course but trust me it is not worth the money. $35-$40 maybe $60+ NO WAY. There are too many courses that are much better in the area. If you are going to go to Fairway Hills just drive a little more and go to Blue Mash it is well worth it.

Very nice course and a great value. This is a very nice course to get back on track if you have not been playing well. A couple very easy par 5's you can get some birds.

The greens are a little banged up, but the fairways are in good shape for late season. Itâ..s a short course, but narrow and mostly tree lined. The amenities are VERY limited, but compensates with a friendly staff. Drink fast or bring you own ice and small cooler as they have neither.

Even though this course from the white tees is only 5723 yards it is very tough unless you hit the ball straight. Stray 10 yards off line and you are in trouble here (creeks, rivers, trees). The course is a little more forgiving from the blue tees if you have the distance. Greens are well maintained as are the fairways. Rough can be quite thick on some holes. Staff are friendly and the pro shop is sparse as are the eats.

Fairway Hills golf course is now open to the public. The conditions were very good considering they just planted new bermuda grass last year. The staff is friendly and with your $60 round you receive a course layout book. The only thing they have food wise, is cold hot dogs which was disappointing. The narrow hilly fairways make up for the shortness of the course. Definitely a great round with above average conditions!

Lots of bare areas in the fairways during the time we played. Greens were all cut differently and all with different speeds. Still had fun playing the course
