I am a scratch recreational golfer and tend to play the muni circuit here in tucson. Silverbell course seems to be the more wide open course here in town with a good amount of forgiveness on either side of the fairway. The rates are low enough to disregard the lackluster upkeep. When I feel like playing more with my woods I play here. Snack bar is good and well stocked although cart sales around the course is lacking. The Putting practice area is one of the better municipal areas around. During the weekdays there doesnt seem to be much traffic on the course. Overall if youre looking to work on your game without losing too many balls or holding up other golfers I would try silverbell out.
