This course doesn't get enough good ratings to offset one review from a disgruntled player, so I'm gonna give it all 5's because it certainly deserves a higher ranking than it currently gets on The Local Golfer. Because we get on through our golf association, it's still in my price range and one of the best courses in Northern Virginia.

Let me start of explaining Conditions:
a.) Green Conditions: According to Management, Westfields needed to water the greens because of the heat and humid conditions. However, they never explained several greens were under repair either.
b.) Fairway Conditions: 5 Fairways were Cart Path Only. Most of the open Fairways, had brown patches and seemed to need repair.
Tee Boxes: OMG - They need to repair these things.
Course Value: During the week its about $90 and weekends its about $110.

Overall Comment: We had a late morning tee time, we thought it would be ok, but little did we know it was a slow round with poor Green and Fairway Conditions. I'm not sure the economy has something to do with over bookings and tournament play, but Westfields is not the course I thought it was. Would have been better off playing at TwinLakes

Played here at a company tournament, and Westfields really knows how to host an event --- awesome clubhouse, great lunch & dinner, and on the course, the cart girl was around every 3 holes to make sure we were good to go. Plus, the course is very fun and challenging, and in excellent condition. All-in-all, a very enjoyable round, and I'd love to make it back here for non-tournament play.

C'mon Virginia golfers, post some reviews! We had not played Westfields for a couple of years, but when our golf association negotiated a good deal, we all piled on. This is a great track that when we do play it, we usually have to play twilight in the late Spring or early Fall. Greens were perfect, fairways were good, and for a $60 golf and gas index from Arlington, we consider it a real treat to play such a special course.

Nice layout with some very interesting holes. Good mix from very challenging to birdie opportunities. Usually in very good condition. Pace of play can be a drag, but I generally enjoy playing here. It's overpriced compared to similar courses around here, so I only play it occasionally.
