PV was offering a lower than normal rate for January and February, so we took them up on it and were not disappointed. With all the rain, it was carts on path and a couple of the low-lying fairways were a bit squishy. Otherwise, the greens were faster than normal and rolled true. And, most importantly, we were able to sit outside in the sun and watch the winners consume their beer as it was in the low 70's!!!

Arrived at 830 am for a 9 am tee time. Pro Shop is limited. Small bucket of balls for warm up is $6. We had an event for a wedding so the rate was $54, but i believe the actually rate is closer to $75 on a friday morning. The green were good speed, but they were riddled with ball marks and missing grass. Putts were boucing everywhere. Crabb grass in the fairways and in rough (rough was all crabb grass). Speed of play was average (4 hours 15 mniutes). Bunkers we the nicest part of the course. Layout was interesting, 6500 yds. from the blues (gold is championship at 6900). Some of the Par 4's were longer that the par 5s. Decent layout but I probably wouldnt play again for the money and drive time. GPS in carts.

Course was in good shape. Greens had been punched but had been rolled. Several golfers in my group found them a bit inconsistent, but that may have been due to the fact that they had been punched. Other than a couple of bunkers that were waiting for some new sand, the course played quite well.

Say a prayer for the fairways and greens at Pleasant Valley, especially if you are a member or regular player. Despite the efforts of the groundskeepers, it looks like the fairways are getting ready to burn up, and they are doing a great job of keeping the greens in good condition. This is the first course that I have encountered that is struggling with the lack of rain, although I expect to see more. Gas and golf index from Arlington was $41.

The course was in very nice shape as it always is. Don't be deceived by the short yardage on the scorecard. Precision off the tee is a must. A little pricey, but you won't be disappointed.

Nice layout. Greens, fairways, and tee boxes were in pretty good condition. Price is a little steep.

Multiple Greens at Pleasant Valley have been plagued by Large Bees burrowing into the greens. These Bees are harmless unless provoked. Course Officials have been trying to remove these Bees, but several holes on the Front major problems. Pro Shop is well stocked and Snack Bar is great to pickup something quick to eat. People at this course are very friendly and helpful. They have a GPS system, which will help you navigate through the course.
