90% of the players here are seniors/retirees and are playing in leagues. The staff is older, and the crew is good regarding the lack of crew presence currently hired. The stuff you can buy there is well-priced (best is the used-ball sale, you can pick out the ones you like) and you can get a tee time on certain websites for ~$20 with a cart, which should be the price. It's definitely not worth the $45 I paid. The fairways are choppy and spotty, the greens are bipolar, and the sand trap is dust and dirt, with shotty rakes for keeping-- don't bother raking the bunkers, it isn't necessary. The times I have played, during the week that is, there is no hold up waiting on those around you. The pace of play is quite advanced during the week. The layout is quite interesting, and a couple of holes, like #17, are extremely interesting and test your game. However, this is one of the those courses with potential that has the wrong owner. I wish there were ways for tax-payer courses like this to be better-kept. If you are fiending for golf and have some time during the week, or are not a local looking to squeeze in a round before your trip home, you might as well buy a time online for a good price. I would definitely recommend this for Parents looking to take their kids out during the summer, bring a lot of extra golf balls with you and you'll have a good time.
