You can't beat a morning holiday round in under two hours at what I consider to be the best muni in Northern Virginia. I can't remember a time when Jefferson District hasn't been in superior condition. Holiday gas and golf index from Arlington was $22.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the best nine-hole golf course in Northern Virginia. Even in the middle of the worst summer droughts and with heavy use, you can count on it being in great shape. It is a bit short, but good for your golf ego and short game, save a bunch of petrol, and frequently on and off the course in two hours.

For $17 for 9 holes, this is a great SHORT course. It is fun to go out an walk early in the morning. It is a Fairfax County course, but lots of fun. You can play from the "tips" and still drive the greens. Try it out.
