We were pleasantly surprised to find Brambleton in such good condition this time of year. Greens and fairways are just a bunch of sunny days away from being in excellent condition. They are letting the rough flourish in anticipation of the summer, I guess. Although there has been a bit of rain the last couple of days, the bunkers were in good shape.

Course was in great condition, and, most importantly, they were pouring Old Dominion Oak Barrel Stout in the snack bar. We'll be back!

I have played this course actually several times because I enjoy it so much. It's one of my favorite golf courses in the area. The greens were very good as usual, the tees were real good as well, and the fairways were excellent overall - just a few bad areas in some low spots. I think this course is a real good choice, in particular for the mid range handicapper, since it is fairly open on most holes. Overall this golf course is a very good bargain, and judging by the difficulty in getting a tee time, I beleive I am in the majority who feels this way.

Well maintain course. Picture perfect par-3 water hole, with some challenging par-5s. All in all a great walking course. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my round at Brambleton. The course was generally flat to a good course to walk. Lot's of tree-lined fairways that separated our group from others on other holes. We played in the afternoon which led to near 5 hour round, but still seemed to keep moving. If I lived closer, I'd play there regularly.

A very fun pre-Thanksgiving round with friends and family. The course held up its end of the deal, but my golf game did not. I guess that's what you get for not playing since August. Overall, course is in solid shape for this late in the season, and the weather was ideal for a late-November day. Spring time at this course should be fun . . . especially if my game abides.

Being that is is the middle of March, Brambleton is in average condition. The fairways look similar to other grassy areas in the Northern Virginia area and the greens rolled smooth and true. Rather quick, actually. This course remains one of the better "muni" style courses in Northern Virginia.

Off fairway grass in poor condition. Large amounts of goose droppings on some of the fairways. Large number of bees on greens and some sand traps.
