O.K., so I didn't play the course. However, I was fortunate enough to walk these magnificent grounds for two days and watch the world's best struggle to slay this mythical dragon. As most golf enthusiasts and journalists will tell you, it is hard to describe the course and capture all of its beauty in words. Phrases such as "Wow" and "Unbelievable" echo around you from the moment you enter through the gates. It's more of a sensation that you get being there. For a golf fanatic I'm sure it's more closely related to a devout individual visiting Jerusalem for the first time. Going off of numerous recommendations, I saw fit to camp out for a while behind the 16th green on Tuesday. Sure, the skipping across the pond was neat, but it was the energy from the crowd that got your blood pumping. If you have not been to Augusta, you owe it to yourself to go and experience the event and the course first hand.
