Nice, warm day...so went over to Queenstown as a walk on. Got me right out on the Lakes and I played as a single. Caught up with a foursome at the turn, and they let me play through. Finished in 3 hrs. Course in good shape for this time of year. Rough is cut to a nice length and green. Fairways in good shape, albeit turning brown from going dormant. Some bunkers had water in them, but not too many. The ones I was in (ugh...) had nice, thick sand. Greens were excellent with a nice pace. Staff was extremely attentive and welcoming...felt like they were happy I was there. Saw lots of deer...a 6 point buck! Very relaxing round on a nice course. $40 w/Tee Time Book.

Course was in wet shape from last night's storm, but overall great round. Pace of play was 3.5 hours, saw snack cart 4-5 times.

Very wet round, but the course was in really great shape. After the first hole the rain let up and it was a beautiful day. The rain must have scared off the the other players and we were the only ones on the course. One of the most enjoyable rounds in a long long time.

$49 rate for Friday morning. Course is in winter condition--dormant grasses, decent greens, and bunkers in good shape (some wet some dry). All fairways and rough were extremely wet...squishy all around, but staff warned us as much. As a result, cart path only. No snack bar (only water and crackers), and the staff who were there were great! But, who really cares about course conditions!! It was almost 60 degrees, a beautiful day, and a round of golf in February! What's not to like.

Got hosed by the weatherman on Sunday, as they said it was supposed to get almost 70, but never got above 55. Fog was so thick early in the round it was hard to keep track of your shots. These environmental issues out of the way, the course is in great shape for this time of year. It was a little hard getting used to the brown Bermuda grass fairways (visually), but they were in real good shape. Grounds crew has done a good job filling in divots where they had been taken. Greens were a little inconsistent, as it seems they were air-rated not too long ago (sandy). All in all for early Jan around here course is a safe play.

Overall, The Lakes at Queenstown is in good shape. The greens are completely green but they were so slow! I never got the pace right all day. The fairways were in good shape--looked almost like carpet. What surprised me was the rough. It was very brown, which made the fairways look incredibly green, but typically Queenstown is well kept all around. We paid $65 for a holiday morning, so that was a good deal. I like both of the layouts at Queenstown and they certainly are trying to keep them in good shape. A marshall was moving around and monitoring pace of play, so it was a good round.

Queenstown Harbor is in great shape, the greens were near perfect, only two fairways had visible damage and the tee boxes were level and clean. It was nice to get out there and play a quality course that you know is not all hacked up like your traditional muni. The fee was $75 which is not cheap, however you get what you pay for in conditions. My only complaint is that the driving range (fee includes complimentary balls) had no tees, in fact there was not even a place to put a tee in the matts, it made no sense. Otherwise the staff, snack bar, and experience was excellent.

It was a bit pricey for the course/green being aerated. Overall, we had a great time on a nice layout. I enjoy playing this course - it is a fun challenging public course.

Queenstown is always an enjoyable experience. They are in the process of converting the course to Bermuda grass, so there are some growing pains --- while the tees and green are PERFECT, the fairways are in bad shape. In many cases, you would have a better lie in the rough! That said, they are currently offering reduced rates for the Lakes Course --- under $40 during peak time on a Saturday! Overall a lot of fun.

First group out after a tourny. A little over 3 hour round. Tee boxes were a little beat up from the tournament, but everything else was perfect! No cart girl, and the driving range was closed for repairs. $52 twilight is a great value for this course. Got a free round from my Player Points, so make sure to give your name to all Atlantic Golf Courses.

First round under my belt! Course was in pretty good condition overall. Carts were allowed 90 Degrees and considering all of the precipitation we've gotten here, I was really shocked and happily surprised. The tee boxes were yellowish green, the fairway was in great shape, and the greens were good considering the time of year. Pace of play was great; 18 in under 4 hours. They have $34 winter rates in effect after 12:00, and if you're around in the next couple of weeks, this course is a must play!

Course was in excellent shape, however we only got through 6 holes due to the rain. I went in to the pro shop and was pleasantly surprised that I got a rain check for a full round even though I played a 1/3 of the course. I can't wait to come back and play for free!

Course is in great shape. Front 9 is OK, but Back 9 is very challenging; almost a different course from 10-18. Well worth the twilight rate, but I'll never understand why people don't repair their ball marks! Overall, quite an enjoyable round.

As always course was in immaculate condition. I played late afternoon. Course was $49 after 2pm. We had the entire course to ourselves. Greens were slow at times, but definitely were better groomed and pressed on the back nine. My only knock surprisingly is there was no beverage cart present. With it being 94 degrees today, that would have been helpful. Overall, very enjoyable round, can't wait to play there again.

Tee boxes needed a little work, fairway and greens were pristine. There was no one on the course probably because there were gale force winds with below freezing temps, but played 18 in 2 hours.

Most of the greens were sandy from being aerated, and were pretty tough to read. The fairways and tee boxes were amazingly in great shape. Four-hour round. $34 for twilight....can't beat it (March rates)!

The course was absolutely beautiful! The greens were amazing! There was one hole where the bulk head was being repaired and a large crane was right in front of the green. Besides that though, the course was perfect. The staff was friendly, but the cart girl was MIA. Front nine in less than an hour and a half, back nine in two hours. Go see this place!

This course definitely lived up to expectations. Since reading all the reviews of this course from this website, I thought it was time to take a trip over the Bay Bridge to Queenstown. It was everything I had hoped it would be. Conditions were excellent, fairways perfect, greens rolled true, and for $44 after 2pm Mon-Fri, this course can not be beat. You all owe it to yourselves to check out this facility. Truly a Maryland gem!

Overall a good experience. The course was in good shape although the greens looked patchy they rolled pretty well. Pace of play was slow as I was told there was a tournament earlier. A little over 5 hours on a Saturday afternoon but than can be expected. Staff was friendly.

Course was in very good shape; the greens were true, with a good pace. This course often gets overlooked for the more expensive River course, but it is definitely worth playing.
