Always a favorite, Moorlands is a challenge. Some tight fairways, lots of "inconvenient" bunkering, strategically placed railroad ties (Dye's trademark), and always a cross-wind even on calm days. The first time you play it, you most likely will hate it--however, give it another try just for the challenge. I've played it several times and still like it, although I don't always play it well. Watch out for #2--this par 5 has a split fairway and both are narrow. Take a look in advance of your shots to determine your best landing areas, as you also should with #15. Enjoy this Dye challenge. The clubhouse has great food, with waitresses who will "get you back out" if you plan to play 36. But, the clubhouse is always packed and noisy...the food is worth it, though.
