Course layout is nice: however the course is poorly maintained, especially the tee boxes. Additionally, the ownership/ management is terrible. We spent $100+ for 6 of us to play as two groups and got harassed constantly by management. They threatened to kick us off for driving across the fairway at 90 degrees to pick up a ball(we were playing best ball). I will never play their, or Cedar Ridge (same ownership) again. There are almost a dozen places to play within the same distance, so I'll spend my money on a well maintained course with respectful management next time I play. Its a shame because before today I was playing this course almost once a week, but they've lost my business, and deservedly so. Seriously, play Mountain View, Maple Run, Wakefield Valley, Westminster National, The Hills, anywhere else, the course is better maintained and I guarantee a better experience with management.

I like the course, it's fun, but then I'm easy to please when there is a golf course in front of me. I'm a sometimes bogey golfer, been playing for about six years, mostly in central Florida and northern Virginia. I like the layout at Meadow Brook, up and down and around with a couple of nice doglegs, a short Par 3 to a pennsulia green, the views are incredible, the greens are true, fair and in good condition. Sun does not appear to be an issue, at least in the morning. All in all compared other three PA courses (Carrol Valley, Flatbush, and South Hills) I've played, its a 3.5-4.0. I've been playing at Meadow Brook for three weeks.

Tried course again after snow went away. Greens were not cut close and were slow. Fairways and rough were both cut to same length (kind of light rough). Sand traps were firm but not hard but had no rakes. On the plus side, rates are excellent ($13 for Tee Time Book or $15 for seniors - with cart). Course has possibility of being very good once The season progresses and correct mowing is done on a regular basis. Fairways, rough, and greens are all very lush.

It was good to get back out on a golf course after all of the snow we've had. Meadow Brook was one of the first courses reopening and it was in decent shape. Of course it was wet and the traps were mostly filled with snow. No electric carts were allowed but the greens fees couldn't be beat ($8). There of course were some small patches of snow on some of the fairways, but they were definitely playable.

Greens are lush but cut so long that I coudn't hit a putt farthur than 25-30 feet. Traps were a little heavy but OK. Fairways and rough were not irragated and generally burnt out, but still grassy. Tees were like concrete. Price was extremely good ($13 with Tee Time book or $19 senior rate. No snack bar to speak of and limited water on the course. I will wait to go back until after we have had several days of steady rain.
