This shorter course is perfect for beginners and those looking to hone their game. There is a wide variety of par 3 holes, with some par 4s and a par 5 that all feature a bit of challenge. Although less than 5500 yards it has difficulty. Trees, water, hills and bunker are throughout. The small pro shop is adequate, the staff friendly, and the best thing is you can play 18 holes in less than 3 hours with a little luck. I particularly like the second and third holes which require precise drives. You can play smart and score well, or you can push the pedal to the metal and take your chances. Sometimes those chances mean bogey or worse. To be sure, this is not a championship level course, but it's a wonderful short Jersey gem.
