Course was in great shape. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens excellent shape. The only place I saw any brown spots was on #18 approaching the green and in the rough (where you expect it),. I have always liked this course...lots of variety in holes and shaping your shots. Even with all the rain, the ball bounced a fair amount, especially approaching the green. Sand was nice, but didn't have much depth--dig too deep and you will hit the base. Greens were in great shape, but running a tad fast and with some undulations which threw the ball off line. Had five 3-putts, which I never do! Try to get it as close to the pin as you can. We had a slow foursome in front of us and waited on almost all holes, but it was still an enjoyable round. For $32 w/Tee Time Book, you can't go wrong. Worth the drive into Greencastle, PA.
