It's been about 4 years since I've played this course, and decided to make a trip up. The course was in excellent condition with great fairways and most of the greens in good shape. All holes were mowed and nicely manicured. The front nine is more open and seemingly cut out of what was once pasture area. The back nine has a very different look and feel weaving through woods, has some meandering creeks, and a bit more slope and ups and downs. I didn't give it a 5 because there were a couple of issues: 1) bunkers had pebbles in them, 2) some of the back nine greens had bad areas which were painted over, and 3) it was very slow play, although the marshal came around a couple of times to try to keep things moving. This is not an overly challenging course, but it does give you an opportunity to rip your driver and woods with generous landing areas. Additionally, they added on to the club house with very nice restrooms, and I understand plans to continue to add amenities. With the Tee Time Book, it was only $39 after 11:00 and that's a great price for this course. It's a nice course, in good shape, with very nice, welcoming staff. Give it a try, but just remember the weekends could be a tad slow.
