We played Tanglewood at 11am on Sunday. The course is in great condition. Fairwys and greens are nearly perfect. Rough a little thick but not unplayable. Pace of play was great. We finished in a little under 4 hrs. Greens are fast and roll true. Staff is excellant. Well worth the drive. A must play if you are in the area.

Great conditions, fast greens, and a four hour round on a Saturday morning..what else can you ask for? Tanglewood may be one of the best kept secrets in PA, only an hour outside of Baltimore, this course is a must play!

Probably the best kept secret of SouthEast PA. Course is in great shape and extremely forgiving. Not the most challenging or intimidating course I've ever played, but definitely one of the most enjoyable rounds. Food at the turn was very good. Only negative was that there was no cart girl, but considering that we played in just over 4 hours, it wasn't an issue. Definitely worth the extra 30 minute drive if you're looking to play around the area.

This is course is beautiful and in excellent shape. The staff does a fantastic job in taking care of the course and the patrons who play the course. There are a lot of great golf holes on this course. Number 15 was my favorite. A blind tee shot to a tree lined fairway, sloped to the right. A high risk, high reward shot. This course is a must play.

OK so I'm the only person to review this course and I have done it twice. This is a GREAT course, it is in great shape and the price is CHEAP. I live in White Marsh so it is about an hour and 15 minutes and well worth it. The last time I played there it was very cold and I knew it was a great course but this time I got to enjoy it. It gets a decent amount of play but the staff and players take damn good care of it. The club house is nice and the food is ok. The pro shop has some really good priced things in there too. I would not make a big deal about nothing but go play this course you will thank me.

There is no way we should have been playing golf it was 37 and windy but we did and I'm glad we did. I can't wait to play this course again when the weather is right. The next time the temp is over 55 I'm going no matter what day it is. This course was beautiful with some great holes. I will be playing from the blacks next time and I suggest the blues if you play whites or play the whites if you want to show off for someone but no matter where you play from just trust me and play this course.
