| Annual road trip to the Rock to play some of the new holes did not disappoint. We played eighteen holes on the "Boulder 11," which included five holes from the original course and six of the new holes. Green all over, and, thankfully, it was a little humid, which kept the greens just right(they can get very slick during the dry part of the summer). Gas and golf index from Arlington was $33. |

| Interesting layout and difficult design. Fairways had very little bare spots and rough was very thick. Greens rolled true.
#'s 5 and 11 are very difficult holes. A must play. |

| Rock Harbor is in EXCELLENT shape. This is the second time that I have played here and I have yet to be disappointed. If you are able to make the drive to Winchester, DO IT! Greens were in great shape and the fairways were perfect. I did not see a brown spot on the course. When you do play The Rock, BEWARE #11! When they say club up, take 2 clubs. This is one of the hardest holes in the DC area. |
