Rack rate on this holiday weekend was $59. This course is very challenging. There isn't a flat lie anywhere on the course...not on the tee boxes, fairways, or greens. It's very hilly and tremendous slope in the fairways. The tips are only 6323 (par 70), but it will test your shot making--you can hit the fairway, but it will not stop there! For the ladies, the slope is high at 133 and plays longer than the 5348 stated on the card. It's in good shape, and the rough is long enough to hold the balls as they roll through the fairways, so chances are it will be held up and you won't lose it. Some of the fairways are pretty narrow on top of the slope. And, the greens are undulating, with subtle breaks, and fast. The only thing I didn't particularly care for were the bunkers (and I was in a lot of them due to bad bounces), as the sand was heavy and thick. Felt like hitting out of dirt vs sand. If you want to test your course management, try this course. The staff is very welcoming and actually put us out about 40 mins early on a Saturday!! Only 1 hr 20 mins from Baltimore.
