I played Chambers Bay so I could say I did. Although pricey, it's worth it. Made out of an old gravel pit, the whole course is in a bowl. It's almost like an amphi-theater. It's amazing how sound carries (be careful how you express verbal negative. Fairways are generous, lies are TIGHT, yet there's more grass on them than at Bandon Dunes. Strategic play is a must, and even then, the undulations can wreak havoc with where you end up. Head Pro Brent Zepp, and all the employees are helpful and friendly. I'd check in at least 45 minutes before your tee time. A shuttle takes you to the driving range and then to the starter shack. There is a snack bar for drinks that is strategically located. Be prepared to walk. No carts. The course is not for the faint of heart. I was pretty tired at the end, even with a caddy carrying my bag. The experience was fun. The course kicked my ass, but score was the least of my goals. When they say you can putt from 150 yards, it's true.
