It seems like every single news source picked up Tiger’s “press conference” last week. Now, every channel I turn to Tiger, Tiger and more Tiger. I love how everyone wants to analyze whether he truly meant what he said or didn’t – WHO CARES – Tiger doesn’t owe me an apology I just want to see him back in the news for all of the right reasons – winning championships. Tiger gave little indication of when he plans to come back, but it will be one long golf season if he is a no show on the PGA tour this year.

With two monstrous snow storms this winter, golf has been few and far between for the winter golfer. Snow totals throughout the northeast range from a foot in southern Virginia to over 30 inches in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. Experts estimate that the snow will not melt for at least three weeks, which means golfers will not see green on the links until at least March.

Tiger Woods made headlines today for the first time since his sex scandal broke over Thanksgiving. This time it wasn’t for the wrong reasons. In the 2nd annual Fab 40 magazine by Forbes, Tiger earned more money from endorsements then any other athlete in the world.

Tiger earned $64 million last year. That’s $46 million more then the number two ranked athlete, David Beckham.

Most of the money Woods earned was before the sex scandal broke. After the sex scandal broke, AT&T and Accenture dropped him. His spot as the number one earner in endorsements, is now in jeopardy.
