Golf’s top earners were calculated by on course income and off course income.  On course income includes money won on the PGA Tour, the Champions Tour and the five international tours (Asian, Australasian, PGA Europe, Japan PGA, and Southern Africa).  Off course incomes includes money earned from endorsements, appearance fees, bonuses, corporate outings and licensing fees.

Number 1-

Tiger Woods.  On course: $2,067,059  Off Course: $64,000.000 Total: $66,067,059.  His total earnings are down 50% from what he earned three years ago.

Number 2-

Phil Mickelson. On course: $3,991,564 Off course: $38,000,000 Total: $41,991,564.  Always a fan favorite.

Number 3-

Arnold Palmer. On course: $0 Off course: $38,000,000 Total: $38,000,000.  The only person on this list to have zero on course income.

Number 4-

Jack Nicklaus.  On course: $155,000 Off course: $28,800,000  Total: $28,955,000.  Golden Bear Design Company is a cash cow

Number 5-

Greg Norman. On course: $75,118  Off Course: $22,750,000  Total: $22,825,118.  The “Shark” logo is everywhere from golf courses to wine bottles, closets to turf.
