Blizzard of 2010 Eliminates Winter Golf for the Mideast
With two monstrous snow storms this winter, golf has been few and far between for the winter golfer. Snow totals throughout the northeast range from a foot in southern Virginia to over 30 inches in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. Experts estimate that the snow will not melt for at least three weeks, which means golfers will not see green on the links until at least March.
