Mickelson: Turning a new leaf in the Ryder Cup
By: Jeremy Kaufman
Did anyone else feel like the US didn’t have a chance going into the Ryder Cup with Tiger not playing and with six first time players? I sure did. Even with Tiger playing in the past, the US has had a rough time. Low and behold, Mickelson, the most renowned and best golfer on the US team was paired with the up and coming star, Anthony Kim. Mickelson, who has not fared well in Ryder Cup’s in the past, looked like a completely different player today. He and Kim, came back from 3 down twice to earn a half of a point in the morning foursome and a full point in the afternoon four-ball.
“I love playing with this guy. He has a lot of talent, a lot of game. It was fun for me to be with that youthful exuberance today.” Mickelson said with a big smile on his face.
Look for the USA to take it’s first Ryder Cup since 1999.
Final round coverage tomorrow from 12pm – 6pm on NBC.
GO USA!!!

What a great Rider Cup! For the first time I really enjoyed watching the crowd get really in to it.
